Things to Be Aware Of
While we aim to help every patient, there are some things to keep in mind:
- Scope of Service: This service specifically covers oral contraceptive pills. If you require long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) such as the injection, implant, or IUD (coil), we will provide information and refer you to the appropriate clinic or GP.
- Clinical Suitability: In some cases, your medical history or clinical readings (like high blood pressure) may mean the pill isn’t the safest option. If this happens, our pharmacist will discuss alternatives or refer you for further investigation.
- Privacy: Your GP will be notified that you have received contraception from us to ensure your medical records are kept up to date, unless you explicitly request otherwise.
Take control of your health today with a confidential, professional consultation.
