At Saood Pharmacy we are committed to ensuring our local community has access to their essential medications. While we do not currently operate a formal, large-scale delivery fleet, we take pride in going the extra mile for those who need us most.
Our pharmacy is conveniently located with excellent transport links, making it easily accessible whether you are walking, driving, or using public transport.
Our Community Foot Delivery Service
We believe that being “housebound” shouldn’t mean being without your medication. To support our most vulnerable patients, our team members faithfully provide a local delivery service on foot during their own time.
Eligibility
This service is strictly reserved for patients who are housebound and live within a 1 to 2-mile radius of our pharmacy (RG1 7LL).
Schedule
These deliveries are generally made on Thursdays and a phone call is usually made prior to delivering.
Availability
As this is a voluntary service provided by our staff, capacity is limited. Please contact us directly to check if there is availability for your specific needs.
How to request: To see if you qualify for a foot delivery, please call our team at 0118 9572687. We will do our absolute utmost to accommodate you.
Visiting the Pharmacy
If you are mobile or have a family member or carer who can collect on your behalf, we encourage you to visit us in person. Our central location in the heart of the town centre makes us a convenient stop during your daily routine.

Short-stay options are available on nearb roads for quick collections.
Paid Parking
Multiple multi-storey and street parking bays are located directly next to us or within a very short walking distance.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
There are several bus stops within a minutes walk of the pharmacy which serve Oxford road. Both Reading main railway station and Reading West station are 10 minutes walk away.
